Covestro AG is a German company which produces a variety of  polyurethane and polycarbonate based raw materials. Makrolon®

Makrolon® polycarbonate is extremely robust, lightweight with glass-like transparency and is impact resistant – even at low temperatures. It also has a high dimensional stability and is easily molded, yet displays excellent heat resistance with a glass transition temperature of up to 148ºC.

Apec®

The uniqueness of Apec® is its outstanding transparency and brilliance paired with a high resistance to heat. It also offers an excellent high-gloss surface for applications such as metallization. This linear, amorphous copolycarbonate can withstand temperatures between approx. -30°C and approx. 150°C for extended periods. It is also tough and resistant to impact.

Texin®

Texin® thermoplastic polyurethanes bridge the gap between rubber and plastics. These materials are available in grades that go from very soft and flexible to very rigid.
